Children's Religious Upbringing

on BBC Home Service Basic

View in Radio Times

Mrs. Sheila Cansdale, Mrs. Rose Hacker, Mrs. Gwen Julius, Dominic Bruce, John Hunt
In the chair, Vernon Sproxton
Two kinds of parents are exercised about the question of children's religious upbringing: the parent who is a convinced Christian but finds it difficult to explain his beliefs to a child, and the agnostic parent who knows he cannot deceive his child but is reluctant to bring him up outside the main Christian tradition. These questions are discussed by five parents whose own beliefs differ widely.
(The recorded broadcast of October 6, in 'Parents and Children' in Network Three)
