Our industries create a great deal of highly toxic chemical waste. How do they dispose of it? Many people think that the usual dumping is a growing menace since some of it is ill-regulated and suitable sites are limited.
Alastair Hay , Lecturer in Chemical Pathology, Leeds University, reviews the problem and the prospects with some of the people most involved.
