What is a criminal like Jack Carter doing in Wyvern? Barlow hopes to find out by discreet surveillance. Digby inadvertently makes the Squad's interest in Carter apparent... Watt is furious with him! Tony, one of Carter's men, inadvertently gives away the criminals' hide-out... Carter is furious with him! In course of duty Digby and Tony meet. Each knows who the other is and they both contrive to use the other to make good their mistakes.
