The finalists are:
Shoot The Moon from Glasgow
Private I.D. from Aberdeen
Thin End of the Wedge from Liverpool
Mezzoforte from Mansfield
The Crack from Cheltenham
Andy Pandemonium from Llanelli
The judges are Hazel O'Connor, Suzi Quatro, Stuart Colman, John Entwistle, Paul Gambaccini, Noddy Holder
and the guest band is Dollar

(Mike Read returns with a new series of Pop Quiz next Saturday and presents his Radio 1 show Monday to Friday at 7.0 am)
