European Football Championship

on BBC One London

CIS v Germany
Live coverage from
Norrkoping of the Group 2 match between the Commonwealth of Independent States, formerly the USSR, and world champions Germany.
The Germans are the only team to have twice been crowned

The Soviet Union won the first
European Championship 32 years ago and have been runners-up three times, including a 2-0 defeat by Holland in the final four years ago.
Also tonight, highlights of and reaction to Scotland's first ever match in the European
Championship finals against defending champions Holland this afternoon in Gothenburg. Commentary by John Motson and Barry Davies. Introduced by Desmond Lynam , with Bob Wilson and Alan Hansen.
