3.10 The Boat Race
A quarter of a million spectators will line the banks of the River Thames in London from Putney to Mortlake for the 146th University Boat Race. For almost a decade Cambridge have dominated, but the last three years have seen some of the closest racing in the history of the event. The light blues will be going for their eighth consecutive win, but Oxford have the more experienced crew and are confident of stopping that run. Live coverage of the race begins at 4.10.
