Back after a summer break, the monthly programme that solves crime by enlisting the help of the viewing public enters its tenth year. The first programme reports on a 67-year-old woman and her
64-year-old husband who were found dead at their farmhouse home near Llanharry,Mid-Glamorgan in July. Both had been killed by a single shot to the head. Crimewatch reconstructs the couple's last day and asks what could be the possible motive for the murder of this quiet couple.
Also this month, a young woman gives her account of the rape which nearly led to her death. She was attacked by a man as she walked home from a riding stables on a July afternoon in Darlington,County Durham. Police are linking the attack with another incident in which a woman reported being spied on as she changed after a game of squash. And there's a security video from a raid on a Halifax jewellers, where the armed robbers got away on a 1,000cc motorbike. Presented by Nick Ross and Sue Cook.
