The reigning star of an afternoon soap opera, Celeste Talbert, should be on top of the world. Instead her private life is a mess and the show's ambitious young producer, David, is plotting her downfall. But the diva of daytime is not so easily dethroned, even when fiction and fact become disastrously confused.
The star-studded supporting cast includes Whoopi Goldberg and Kathy Najimy from the Sister Act movies, Carrie Fisher from Star Wars, as well as Teri Hatcher, television's Lois Lane in The New Adventures of Superman.
