Relativistic Theories by W. B. Bonnor , Ph.D. Queen Elizabeth College ,

In the first of a group of three talks Dr. Bonnor describes what cosmological theoriet based on relativity have to say about the history of the universe. He argues that these theories are superior to the steady state theory, which will itself be the topic of a talk by Professor Hermann Bondi on December 18.
On December 22 there will be a talk by R. A. Lyttelton on ' An Electric Universe and on December 28 a discussion between the three speakers in this series.
