10.00pm BBC1 Two murder inquiries are spotlighted in this month's edition and both of them are mysteries that Nick Ross and Jill Dando are hoping viewers will be able to solve.
Mystery number one involves Stephen Varah, who disappeared from his home in Grimsby in 1993 and, apart from a driver who gave him a lift near Lincoln, has not been seen since. However, a body wearing Varah's clothes was found in a ditch off the A1 near Peterborough last October.
The second appeal is for help solving the murder of 79-year-old Constance Sheridan and her 45-year-old daughter Janice. They were found stabbed to death in their isolated cottage in the Norfolk fens on Sunday 10 January. There is no obvious motive for the killings, but the pair ran a whippet-breeding enterprise and the police are hoping that someone in the dog world may offer them a clue.
