on BBC Radio 3

by Clancy Sigal
2: Around Hollywood
For the past 20 years the novelist and critic Clancy Sigal has been living in Britain. Recently he returned to Los Angeles where in the post-war years he had been a student activist at the University of California and subsequently worked in the film industry before being put on the Hollywood black-list during the McCarthy era. In the second of two talks he reports on the changes he observed in the movie colony.
