Jack Smith , golf professional
Jack Smith went to Hayling Golf Club in Hampshire in 1912 as assistant to his elder brother. He became the professional there in 1921, and among the members at Hayling and elsewhere in the south of England he has acquired a considerable reputation as a club-maker, a teacher, and a character.' He talks of his life and his job with Douglas Williams , who narrates the programme.
