On 31 December, Mr L.E. Rush one of the most respected names in pigeon-racing retired as manager of The Queen's Flight. Ray Gosling went to visit him at the Royal Lofts in Norfolk on the last race day of the season. As they waited among the cabbages for the first feather home, there was time to talk of many things.
