Grass Roots: 5: A Forgotten Coast

on BBC One London

A series about England and the English.
Just east of the Wash, between Brancaster and Wells, lies one of the strangest pieces of the English coast-line. Innumerable winding creeks, miles of mud flats-'You could lose an army on the sands at low tide'. Only the local fishermen and the sea birds are at home there.
First shown in the Midlands and the West on February 10
