Grandstand

on BBC One London

featuring
Boxing: Heavyweight Championship of the World: Joe Frazier (USA) World Heavyweight Champion v Bob Foster (USA) World Light Heavyweight Champion
Introduced by Frank Bough

At 1.10* Grandstand's Fight of the Week brings you an exclusive recording of the week's big boxing occasion in Detroit.
For Joe Frazier, unbeaten in 25 fights, this is the most important fight of his career. If he beats Foster, his next defence of the heavyweight title is almost certain to be against Cassius Clay, the unbeaten world champion until he was stripped of his crown, outside the ring, three years ago. Bob Foster, Frazier's opponent in Detroit, is the first light heavyweight champion for 14 years to challenge for the heavyweight crown.
