New series 1/6. Catchphrase-happy antiques expert David Dickinson donates E50,000 of his own money to six novice traders whom he must transform into professional dealers in just six weeks. Their brief is to buy, restore and sell quality artefacts at a prestigious antiques fair. Any profit they make will be shared, but all losses will be the benefactor's to bear.
David uses an antiques eliminator test to pick his team from the hundreds of applicants. The lucky six discover the details of the challenge - including David's involvement - only when he pays them a surprise visit at home. How will they all react?
