Appeal on behalf of The Sir Oswald Stoll Foundation for Disabled Ex-Servicemen (Registered as a Charity in accordance with the National Assistance Act 1948) by Lieut.-General Sir Brian Horrocks, K.C.B., K.B.E., D.S.O., M.C.
Contributions will be gratefully acknowledged and should be addressed to Sir Brian Horrocks , Sir Oswald Stoll Foundation, [address removed]
Founded in 1916 by the late Sir Oswald Stoll and formerly known as the War Seal Foundation, this organisation provides both family homes for disabled ex-Servicemen and 'on the spot' treatment for their disablements. By this combined method a large number of ex-Servicemen are able to regain their self-confidence and at the same time to resume, as far as practicable, normal family home life. Functioning outside the National Health Service, the Foundation increasingly depends upon public support to ensure the continuance of its vital work.
