Luisa Miller
Verdi often used parent-child confrontations in his operas, and in Luisa Miller he contrasts two such relationships. Miller wants to protect his daughter from what he sees as the dishonourable designs of the son of the local Count- and the Count doesn't want his son to marry below his station. A new production by Olivier Tambosi. Presented by Stephanie Hughes.
