The Worcestershire Hunt
Point-to-Point
A running commentary on the race for Lady Dudley's Cup by Major G. Phipps-Hornby from Crowle
It is of interest that this meeting is held at Crowle Green, a few miles from Droitwich. The race for Lady Dudley's Cup is one of the most famous point-to-point races in the country. The gallop is over four miles of grass and hunting fences, and it is a condition of the race that every entry has been hunted regularly during the season. Major Geoffrey Phipps-Hornby , who described the race last year, will be in the paddock, which will give him a commanding view of the whole course.
