Pinchcliffe Grand Prix

on BBC One London

The puppet movie
Thirty-seven miles to the north, a bit east and then up a wee bit lies the hill village of Pinchcliffe, where cycle-repairer Theodor Rimspoke lives with his two assistants - Lambert, a timorous hedgehog and the optimistic Sonny Duckworth.
Rimspoke accepts a challenge, made up by his ex-apprentice Rudolf Gore-Slimey, for all comers to pit their skill against his on the race-track.
So Rimspoke, Gore-Slimey, the Italian ace Ruffino Gassolini, Swedish Turnip Andersen and German Heinrich von Schnell line up for the Grand Prix of the century.
