SrOKENCHURCH. a tiny village in the S Chilterus near High Wyeomhe, is the centre of a colony of skilled chair-makers. A few of the older craftsmen still work out in the beech-woods. but most of them manufacture the traditional Windsor chair-legs in small factories.
