Once upon a time there was a daily programme called Children's Hour. It went out 'live' - and as Children's Hour accompanist (as I was called then) it was my job to fill in the odd intervals by improvising an the piano. It was rather fun to do, and quite a challenge, thinking out something to play which had some relevance to its context. I'd like to do something of the same sort in these Interludes.
