Drama Now: Fallout

on BBC Radio 3

by David Caute
A New Year's Eve party in a high-security scientific establishment is interrupted by an inquisitor. Beyond the pressing question of who has done what, the interrogation brings to light hidden tensions: problems of national identity, political loyalty and. perhaps most important, the dilemma of the scientist who feels he must take the law into his own hands in the name of a higher duty.
