Under her concert name of Dora Labbette , Lisa Perli has appeared with great success at the Royal Albert Hall and Queen's Hall and with all the important musical societies throughout the country. In 1935 she made her first appearance on the operatic stage as Mimi in La Bohème at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, when she made a sensational success which led to her singing in opera on the continent. At the Staatsoper, Berlin, her performances of Mimi in La Bohème and in the name part of Ambroise Thomas 's opera Mignon won for her an outstanding Press who acclaimed her a singer of the perfect Italian School dhd a great actress.
