At this time of year Spalding springs to life with its famous tulip festival. The quiet market town is swamped by thousands of visitors - including Ian Gall.
He meets Gerry Van Geest , whose husband began the festival as an emigrant from his native Holland.
And Carol Burton tells him how she uses the festival to share her Christian belief in peace.
Members of all the local churches gather in the historic parish church of St Mary and St Nicholas to celebrate the beauty of creation.
