by Bruce Stewart
with Duncan Lamont, Timothy West and Aubrey Woods
In 1766 Charles Stuart was no longer the 'Bonnie Prince' of the 45 but a boisterous tippler whose manners and morals were the despair of his younger brother Henry, an elegant Cardinal. Henry plotted to persuade the Pope to recognise the Stuart claim to the English throne - but Charlie's behaviour was no recommendation.
