Second round action from the Murphy's English Open at the Belfry. Crewe's David Gilford booked his place in the Ryder Cup team on the strength of his win in this event last year. It was a round of 71 on this corresponding day of the tournament which kept him in contention, before he fired a 67 and a 70 to beat Roger Chapman by two shots.
