The Seven Ages of Quincy
Jones Quincy Jones knew his life lay in music from the age of 12. He has worked as composer, arranger and producer with the leading musicians of jazz and popular music - from arrangements for Sinatra and Basie in the 50s to pop star Michael Jackson and today's rappers - winning six Grammys for his latest album. His teachers range from Ray Charles to Nadia Boulanger, and a full-length feature film is soon to open here. Quincy Jones talks to Robert Cushman.
