Leslie Mitchell interviews your favourite stars of stage, screen, and cabaret - Judy Kelly and Leslie Henson
This evening Leslie Henson comes to the microphone just a few days after the production of his new laughter-show, Up and Doing, at the Saville Theatre. Leslie of the hoarse voice and fishy eye needs little introduction to most listeners, and can be counted upon to raise a laugh on any given occasion.
Next week Patricia Burke, who is also appearing in Up and Doing, will be heard in 'Close-Up', and it is hoped that Stanley Holloway, another member of the cast, will broadcast a fortnight from today.
Judy Kelly is one of the most successful young film stars in Britain. She is Australian-born, and has had long theatrical experience. Her last film to be released was At the Villa Rose, and she has just completed George and Margaret, which will be shown shortly.
