FIND THE LADY

on BBC Radio 2

A mystery serial in seven parts by David Ellis with Noel Johnson
4: In which Andrew Marsh finds his car
Andrew had his cheque book stolen-and when it was used to buy goods with dud cheques he fell under police suspicion. Trying to clear himself he blundered into more trouble-his friend Roger Sherwin was killed by a hit-and-run car and Andrew ' framed ' for the murder. Among Roger's effects he found several stolen cheque books, one belonging to Sheldon Everard. Andrew called at Everard's address and met his daughter Margaret-her father had committed suicide. Margaret joined Andrew in his search for the truth, but before they got very far Andrew's wife Joyce disappeared and he received a message warning him to ' lay off ' if he ever wanted to see her again ...
