Hardy is trying to piece together the burnt pieces of paper found in the suspect's room. Jo Hardy has been asked to try and break the surviving victim's amnesia by hypnosis. Witnesses are being interrogated and the suspect questioned at length. The case builds up against him. But nothing can be certain until the verdict is given at the trial in next week's concluding episode.
