More than half the processed food consumed in Britain is made with genetically modified crops. As consumer resistance grows, reporter Steve Bradshaw investigates claims that there are no adequate long-term tests to guarantee safety to either people's health or the countryside, and that labelling is so inadequate that shoppers often don't know what they are buying.
