The first in a new ten-part series of the programme which reconstructs real-life rescues and reveals extraordinary stories of heroism and bravery. Tonight's stories include a boy entombed by a ton of sand while playing in the sand dunes on holiday; an exploding can of deodorant which lifts the roof off a house; plus a report on the volunteers who act as casualties to help the emergency services train for major disasters.
Presented by Michael Buerk and Juliet Morris.
