Odd Balls

on BBC Radio 4 FM

A four-part comedy series by Don Howarth.
2:Bill Bosun - Speedily to School.
Bill Bosun is the highly popular driver of the country school bus whose speed at the wheel makes school journeys a hazard and an adventure. The big, jolly man's weakness is his unwillingness to see anyone in a jam. Against instruction, he waits for late pupils and gives lifts to all kinds of people and their dogs, ducks and hens. To the children, he is a loved and admired friend. The school governors and local councillors have a different view and his future is in their hands.
