Prince of Wales Award for Innovation, 1991
At his country home,
Highgrove House, HRH the Prince of Wales meets the six finalists chosen from this year's entries. He tries out a new flexible wound dressing, sees how trees may be saved by a plastic bulb, and discovers hotspots around Highgrove with a new thermal image camera. The 1991 trophy goes to the most successful of the products first shown on Tomorrow's World two years ago; and for the invention selected for its special value in protecting the environment, the Prince presents a unique award - a lithograph of one of his own paintings. With Judith Hann , Howard Stableford, Peter Macann and Kate
Bellingham.
