John Abercrombie Quartet. Jez Nelson presents a concert by American guitarist John Abercrombie , recorded in London's Pizza Express Club. Abercrombie's individual approach to the instrument-eloquent and impressionistic, but at times capable of the aggressive playing more often associated with the electric guitar- have made him one of ECM 's most popular recording artists. Forthis concert he was joined by his quartet, which features violinist Mark Feldman , alongside Joey Baron on drums and bassist Marc Johnson.
