To Canterbury They Wend

on BBC Radio 4 FM

Later this month 500 bishops representing the world-wide Anglican Communion will journey to Canterbury to assemble for the 1988 Lambeth Conference.
Dr Robert Runcie , Archbishop of Canterbury, has asked the bishops to bring with them the concerns and experience of their own dioceses in this worldwide family of Christians. In the second of two pre-Lambeth programmes,
Gerald Priestland explores how those priorities reflect the wide diversity of ministry within the Anglican Communion and how the agenda will allow those issues to be shared.
