The Monday Film: A Question of Guilt

on BBC One London

starring
Tuesday Weld Ron Liebman
When Doris Winters reports the disappearance of her two small daughters, the police launch a massive search - and eventually discover the children dead. Their mother, who is separated from her husband, is accused of child battering and murder. In an atmosphere of prejudice against her easy-going life style, Doris is put on trial and finds that her morals are the subject of criticism rather than any possible crime. This made-for-TV movie is a controversial and gripping examination of morality and justice in present-day society.
