Wildlife adventure. Jesse, now a teenager, gets a summer job on a marine biology research boat, and looks forward to a reunion with Willy the orca whale. But his hydrophonic signal to Willy is picked up by illegal whalers. However, Jesse finds an unexpected ally in his attempts to save Willy and his pregnant mate, Nikki.
