Michael Berkeley 's guest this week is poet, scholar and novelist John Fuller , whose works are full of musical allusions - from the novel
Look Twice about a one-handed pianist to many items published in his Collected Poems of 1996. His choices range from concertos by Szymanowski, Stravinsky and Prokofiev to songs by Britten and Lutyens, chamber music by Shostakovich and Poulenc and examples of his own poetic thoughts about music, specially recorded for this programme.
