Guilty secrets abound in a quiet Cotswold Village and Roy tries to escape by joining the dangerous and glamorous Airforce with its futuristic jets and tempting new values. At the centre of this strange world stands the sinister Air Commander. An outrageous black comedy, this major film for television is based on Rex Warner's famous 1930's novel of the near future.
