Throughout today, as part of the network's celebration of the centenary of WH Auden, Radio 3 broadcasts Horae Canonicae , his sequence of poems contemplating Good Friday through the seven offices of the monastic day. Each piece is introduced, at approximately its proper hour, by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams , and is read by Tom Durham. WH Auden's Lauds from Horae Canonicae Music includes:
