Joy Adamson , who died earlier this month astonished the world in 1960 with her book Born Free -the story of her unique relationship with an orphaned lioness named Elsa.
Painter, naturalist, and a prolific writer, JOY ADAMSON was a dynamic, talented woman. In this film she talks of her early life in Austria, her love for Kenya and its wildlife-and explains her special bond with Elsa which has pervaded all her life and work.
