More than 500 million people throughout the world live their lives in the shadow of hunger. Tens of thousands die from starvation every year. Of the 34 countries where food is in short supply. 26 are in Africa, and they receive millions of dollars in aid from the developed nations. But arc the aid projects the ones they really need?
