Classic Drama: Wakefield

In Martyn Wade 's dramatisation of one of Nathaniel Hawthorne 's most original short stories, a dull middle-aged man whose life has been monotonously ordinary foryears devises a plot to leave home temporarily and observe the effect on his wife from a flat opposite.
But he stays away much longerthan expected and it becomes more and more difficult to return.
