When a pretty parlourmaid is accused of shooting her lover at her employer's house, Chief Inspector Dreyfus is alarmed to hear that Jacques Clouseau is already investigating the murder. Soon his worst fears are realised! Peter Sellers gives another rich performance as Inspector Clouseau, the supremely incompetent French detective he created in The Pink Panther.
