The chase is one of the basic ingredients of all silent comedy films. In tonight's programme Buster Keaton chases a girl on an ocean liner, Ben Turpin is chased by a sheriff's posse, Harry Langdon chases himself. Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton are both chased by the cops. And there's always the Keystone Cops...
