Many newspapers are finding it harder to make ends meet, and indeed several provincial papers have recently had to close down altogether. Various reasons have been put forward for this--changing tastes, stiffer competition, increased costs.
These are examined by Mr. McKenzie in recorded interviews with Michael Curtis , Editor of The News Chronicle, W. Vaughan Reynolds , Editor of the Birmingham Post and Gazette, and other interested parties.
