A Requiem for Michael
The first of an occasional series of choral music by 20th-century composers. Tonight Paul Guinery is joined by conductor Paul Spicer to introduce music by Herbert Howells , including a new recording of his choral masterpiece Hymnus Paradisi , composed in 1938 as a requiem for his son Michael.
