It's easy to forget that people with a mental handicap need love and companionship. Having a handicap does not take away all our basic human emotions.
Keith and Pat wanted to get married-and overcame by determination and courage all the obstacles that were put in their way. Margaret and Jean now live an independent life within the community-each supported by the companionship of the other.
